Foxy AI Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Foxy AI Chrome extension. It is in addition to the BottomUP Privacy Policy.

What Foxy is

Foxy is a chat popup that answers cryptocurrency market questions. No BottomUP account is required.

What we collect

• Your prompt — the text you type, sent to https://api.bottomup.app so Foxy can reply.
• Optional chart image — only if you attach one. It is sent with that request so Foxy can describe the chart.
• Browser language — used to reply in your language.
• IP address — used only to rate-limit abuse (10 requests per minute). It is not used to identify you or to build a profile.

We do not ask for your name, email, or a BottomUP login. We do not collect browsing history or the contents of other websites.

What stays on your device

Up to 20 recent chats, the theme, and session id are stored with Chrome’s local storage on this computer so you can resume a conversation. They are not synced to BottomUP’s servers as an account. Clearing the extension’s site data or uninstalling it deletes them.

How we use it

Prompts and attached images are used solely to generate Foxy’s reply for that request. We do not sell this data. We do not use it for ads. We do not share it with other users.

Who processes it

BottomUP, Inc. operates the API. The question may be processed by our language-model provider to produce the answer. No exchange API keys or BottomUP account credentials are involved in this extension.

Retention

Request logs needed for security and rate limiting are kept for up to 24 months. On-device chat history stays until it ages out of the 20-chat limit, you clear the extension’s site data, or uninstall.
